STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Director

  1. Guide and direct the administrative functions including financial, programs, evaluations, etc
  2. Supervise staff & evaluate their performance annually
  3. Be responsible for the overall management of the office and expenses
  4. Attend and participate in state and national activities as time and finances allow
  5. Assist with coordination, development, and implementation of programs and activities of the agency
  6. Provide information, support, and direction to the Board of Directors
  7. Supervise and direct all public relations with community contacts
  8. Maintain liaisons with community, service, and other organizations
  9. Be knowledgeable about current issues in the mental health field and mental health needs of the community

 

Volunteer Coordinator

  1. Recruit, orient, and train volunteers
  2. Work with other mental health / human service organizations to obtain opportunities for volunteer services
  3. Coordinate staff and volunteers within the ongoing programs and activities
  4. Serve as staff liaison on a standing committee of the MHA Board of Directors
  5. Develop and implement Early Childhood Mental Health Education for Daycare’s and Preschools
  6. Form and develop the Jr. MHA

 

Education Consultants

  1. Assume primary responsibility for implementation of MH programs for school age children
  2. Serve as primary liaison for MHAHC with county private and public schools
  3. Assist with community education programs, festivals, health fairs, etc.
  4. Serve as staff liaison on a standing committee of the MHA Board of Directors

 

Connection Center Director

  1. Plan, organize, and conduct Connection Center activities
  2. Recruit and train volunteers to assist with Center activities
  3. Solicit supplies to be used for the Center activities
  4. Collect, maintain, and submit the necessary records for the Center activities

 

Office Manager

Manage all aspects of the office of the Mental Health Association in Hendricks County, Including but not limited to: mail, correspondence, phone communication, financial record keeping for agency income, expenditures, payroll, and bank reconciliation, filing, and provide support for the agency programs and staff.
