Mental Health America of Hendricks County strives to provide information and education on mental health and wellness issues and to link Hendricks County citizens with appropriate mental health services. The following is a list of mental health providers in Hendricks County, Westside Marion County and Boone County. It is as accurate and up-to-date as possible at this printing. This list however is not necessarily inclusive of all county/area services available nor is it stated or implied as an endorsement of services by the Mental Health Association in Hendricks County. *Buchanan Counseling Center - Part of Clarian Health Partners offering biofeedback, group counseling, assessments, sexual functioning, substance abuse, divorce adjustment, career & vocational counseling. Main office is on the Methodist campus with satellite offices in Carmel, Castleton, Fishers, Noblesville, Pendleton, Speedway, Plainfield, Columbus, Seymour, the Southside, & Zionsville. *Cravens, Scott - Christian licensed marriage & family therapist, licensed mental health counselor, providing therapy for adults, couples, & families. *Cummins Mental Health Center, Inc. - Served the citizens of Hendricks County since 1972. Mental health & addiction treatment services are available for adults, children, & older adults. Services include: diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, care coordination, employment & rehabilitation programs for individuals with severe psychiatric disabilities, therapeutic day camps & after school programs for children, in-school services, psychiatric services, & chemical dependency treatment. *Family Counseling Center - Private & psychiatric counseling clinic-professional staff members include: psychiatrists, clinical nurse specialists, psychologist & certified clinical social workers. Offers wide range of mental health services to children, adolescents, adults & senior adults. Services include: psychiatric evaluations & medication management, psychological testing. Also offered are various counseling/therapy services for individuals, couples, & families. Traditional & holistic approaches are available. Located at southeast corner of Rockville Rd. & St. Rd. 267. *Hamilton Center Incorporated - Plainfield office is staffed by Masters-level clinicians, psychologist, child & adult psychiatrist. Services include individual, group, couples, & family psychotherapy, addiction services, psychiatric evaluations & psychological testing & evaluation. Also treatment for eating disorders, bulimia & anorexia. All age groups are served. For those lacking insurance, a sliding fee schedule is available & is based on income. *Hendricks Regional Health - 10 bed adult locked acute mental health unit. Treatment goals of hospitalization are threefold: to assist the patient in stabilizing the precipitating crisis, development of alternative coping & problem solving skills, & establishment of a discharge plan which will promote stability. Goals are met in an environment of diversity which promotes safety, respect, maintenance of individual dignity, & the highest level of independence possible for each patient.
