Committee Responsibilities

BOARD DEVELOPMENT:

  1. To nominate Board Officers to be voted on at the Annual Meeting in April.
  2. To prepare Annual Meeting Plans dealing with Review, Financial and Election Reports.
  3. To plan and conduct board training throughout the year.
  4. To discuss recruitment, recommendation, and training of new Board Members.

 

FINANCE:

  1. To develop funding plans for Budget.
  2. To review fund-raising activities.

 

COMMUNITY RELATIONS:

  1. To plan and implement membership recruitment plan and assist in organizing the Membership Campaign and coordinate Volunteer Recognition.
  2. To create, compile, and distribute educational literature throughout the year.
  3. To coordinate and facilitate booth activities at local festivals and fairs.
  4. To recruit, train and acknowledge volunteers.
  5. Organize, promote and train speakers to educate public on numerous mental health topics.

 

PROGRAM:

  1. To develop and carry out school programs.
  2. To develop and carry out miscellaneous programs such as Baby-sitting Courses, May activities, etc.
  3. To discuss mental health topics and presenters for future programs.
  4. To discuss and recruit facilitators for support groups.

 

BUILDING:

  1. Review and make recommendations to the Board , for approval, building related expenditures over $1,000
  2. Seeking competitive bids and awarding of contracts for various building work and services
  3. Tenant lease renewals
  4. Seeking and reviewing new Tenants
  5. Prepare, review, and update the MHAHC Building Maintenance and Operation Plan
