Responsibilities of Board Members

Support the Executive Director

Evaluate the performance of the Executive Director

Ensure adequate resources

Enhance the organizations public persona

Help develop and review the Mission Statement, Goals, and Strategies

Make certain that legal, tax, and accounting matters are properly handled

Serve as representatives of the organization

 

HOW TO BECOME A BOARD MEMBER

Do You qualify to be a board member ?

Be a person interested in mental health

Be a person interested in improving the lives of Hendricks County citizens

Call the MHAHC office at 317-272-0027 to volunteer

People are welcome from all walks of life including professional, business, technical, students, homemakers, etc.

Be committed to attend once a month Board meetings and mental health activities

Be active on one of the standing committees of your choice (See Committee Information)
